Between training days, the Hainan camp turns into a small surf and fitness retreat. The grounds have an outdoor pool, a tennis court, a lake and cacao gardens, and the camp runs weekend activities such as surfing, snorkelling, stream trekking and outings on the water. Some activities cost extra; we confirm which before you book.

Weekend outings

The camp lists surfing, snorkelling, stream trekking and trips on the water as weekend activities. Its photos include a surf lesson on the beach and guests riding small waves. These are the outings it describes; they do not all run every weekend, and they depend on the weather and the sea. If one matters to you, say so in your request and we check the plan for your dates.

Pool and tennis court

An outdoor pool among palm trees and a blue-and-purple tennis court appear in the camp’s materials. Easy laps or a game of tennis are a good way to move on a rest day. Whether access is included in every room rate, and at what times, is still to be confirmed, so treat them as likely rather than promised.

Chocolate Town and the lake

The camp is in Chocolate Town in Xinglong, a garden area with cacao trees, a cacao garden and seed house, a chocolate workshop, a lake with lawns and evening seating under string lights. Xinglong has grown cacao since the 1950s, according to a garden sign in the camp’s photos. It is a calm place to walk between sessions.
